Years are a convenience only, where referenced in the listings, as a rough guide.
WE CAN NOT BE SURE TO GET YOU THE CORRECT PARTS WITHOUT THE SERIAL NUMBER

ABOUT SERIALS
Mercury serial numbers went from 0000001 to 9999999, then rolled over to the newer series 0A000001 and up.
After 0A999999 again rolled over to 0B000001 and so on. Eventually they ran out again and started with 1A000001, then 1B000001, and continue to number serials using this format.
