If your Mfgr. says:
That motor's 7 years old!! Part is no longer available. We lose $$ on service! EPA made me do it! Part's at central warehouse, you'll get it next month. We don't make parts for those. We only do warranty work. Our techs only fix late models. No clue what's wrong! So we'll work time & material.
Works with ANY flywheel having 3 threaded holes for pullers around the center flywheel nut hole.
Most Mercury motors have the center hole internally threaded, and use this #201 puller instead.
(illustrated mounted to an old 40 HP Johnson flywheel, above)
Kit contains:
This is the same kit sold by Bombardier, but with an alternate part number
NEVER disassemble or try to pull ANY outboard
flywheel with a gear puller! The 40 HP OMC flywheel in the picture
above looks solid, but it (and most all outboard flywheels) acts
as the motors' harmonic balancer. You will cause it to fail from
imbalance or just plain break the flexplate. The puller shown above
will allow proper removal of all flywheels with 3 bolts near the
crankshaft. Includes crankshaft protector. You may have to get the
proper bolts for your application locally depnding on motor (included bolts fit most outboards). Be sure to get grade 8,
the ones with 6 radial lines on the head.
Can also be used to pull many prop bearing carriers
using long bolts.
We pay the freight out in USA on all orders over $100.00. Orders less than this amount will have a shipping and handling charge of $8.75 added. Some bulky and heavy items
will incur additional charges. You will be notified beforehand if this is the case. All orders normally ship via USPS. Remember, all orders receive free technical support from the MasterTech!
