REPLACEMENT POWERHEADS

Has your motor become worn out? Possibly it can be rebuilt, but also may have suffered too much damage to be repaired?

Don't depair! We have a selection of rebuilt powerheads available for your Evinrude, Johnson, or Sea Drive motor.
These are professionally remanufactured by OBR in Alabama. They are painstaking about their work and these powerheads are equal to brand new units in functionality. We toured the plant in November 2016 and were very impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail given every rebuild. Cores are dissembled and the block, crankshaft, heads, and manifolds are cleaned and completely inspected for wear against factory tolerances. Any cylinders out of spec must need to be bored to no more than .030" oversize, or the block will be discarded. Cylinders are honed after measuring for tolerances (and boring, if necessary) and washed down.
Crankshafts are thoroughly cleaned and checked for wear and damage, and are also discarded if they do not pass factory tolerances. All parts are checked for damage and mating surfaces are lightly milled to insure perfectly flat fit.

All other internal parts are installed brand new (pistons and associated parts, all bearings, rod bolts, seals, and gaskets). After assembly, painting, and testing, the powerhead is just like a new unit, ready for shipping and installation. All necessary gaskets needed to transfer external parts and mount the powerhead to the rest of the motor are included.
A prepaid call tag is incuded for core returns, for powerheads that require it.
All replacement powerheads come with a 1-year warranty.
