WATER PUMP REPAIR KITS
ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT PARTS!
Impellers are impeller only, no gaskets. Disregard the "NS" (Nissan) and "M" (Tohatsu) prefixes in your Model Number for purposes of cooling system parts applications. An "F" in the model IS important though, since it designates the motor as being a 4-Stroke.
Tohatsu and Nissan are otherwise identical except for Brand Name and color scheme.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO MODEL NUMBERS: i.e. "3.5A2" IS NOT THE SAME MOTOR AS "3.5A".
Water pump kits DO NOT include plastic upper housing, which rarely needs replacing.
The chrome insert for the impeller is included in kits.
2-Stroke applications are in RED
4-Stroke applications are in BLUE
TLDI (fuel injected) applications are in GREEN
TO INSTALL IMPELLER:
Fit impeller key into driveshaft then slide impeller down and mate with key. Lubricate inside of housing with a film of outboard oil or other lubricant, then slide down to impeller. Rotate the driveshaft CLOCKWISE while pressing down on the housing until impeller slips all the way into housing. Then turn housing clockwise until it lines up with bolt holes and install bolts to complete the job. Be sure the water tube fits snugly into the grommet on the housing to prevent air leaks into the water.
