About OMC Starter Drives

Newer Style Drive Gear.
Not interchangeable with older style gear as a replacement part, however, the starter ASSEMBLIES themselves will interchange. Your replacement starter may have a different gear style than pictured below but will fit.

MASTERTECH RECOMMENDS REPLACING THE STARTER SOLENOID ALONG
WITH THE STARTER TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF THE NEW STARTER.
